Bloodless Medicine and Surgery/Transfusion Alternatives Center (TAC)
Saint Francis Hospital is the first in the region to offer a comprehensive Blood Conservation Program, which provides patients with an alternative to transfusion, and helps to identify and treat anemia before surgery. Through a multidisciplinary approach, physicians and nurses collaborate to support and educate our physicians and community. As a result, the patients surgical and medical experiences and overall health outcomes are enhanced.
